Dr. Daniel Weikert is now seeing patients in Franklin, Spring Hill, Dickson, and Murfreesboro.
Dr. Weikert received his BS from Indiana University and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Weikert is board-certified in Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
In addition, he is the team Ophthalmologist for the Tennessee Titans and just completed 20 years with the Nashville Predators.
Dr. Weikert is returning to a private practice environment maintaining offices in the same areas he has provided Ophthalmic Care for more than 30 years. His areas of clinical expertise include medical eye exams and treatment for Diabetes, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and the general health of the eye. He has completed more than 30 thousand surgeries including complicated Anterior Segment Surgery, Standard Cataract Surgery, Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery, and Refractive Intraocular Lens Implantation including multifocal lenses. He also has performed more than 10 thousand dropless cataract surgeries.
