Do you offer financing?
At Cool Springs Surgical Associates, we understand that corrective vision procedures can be an investment. We partner with CareCredit as a trustworthy, high-quality financing option.
How safe is LASIK?
The FDA has approved LASIK as a safe and effective procedure. It is important, however, to remember that LASIK is not the right choice for everybody. Some people are not appropriate candidates, and if treated could have less than optimal results. It is important that you receive a thorough pre-operative evaluation to determine if LASIK is right for you.
How to prepare for surgery?

What can I expect after surgery?
After your cataract surgery or LASIK procedure, you will need to spend minimal time recovering. Recovery is commonly without issues and will not take very long. We will work with you throughout recovery and your life should not be significantly impacted.
Can I drive after cataract surgery?
Surgery requires an anesthetic, so you will have to arrange for a ride home following the procedure. You may be able to drive as soon as 24-hours after surgery.
Does cataract surgery last a lifetime?
The lens that the surgeon implants during cataract surgery is durable and will last a lifetime, according to Mayo Clinic. Sometimes the capsule that holds the lens can become cloudy, and the National Eye Institute calls it an “after-cataract.” If you have an after-cataract, a laser is used to correct the cloudiness.
